Baking Peanut Butter Bumble Bees With The Kids!

Peanut Butter Bumbles!

Bzz! Bzz!  We think Peanut Butter Bumble Bees look great. And, we predict children love making and eating them!

What you need:

• 1/2 cup peanut butter
• 1 cup powdered sugar
• 2 tablespoons butter, softened
• 1 cup graham cracker crumbs
• 1/2 cup chocolate syrup
• 1/2 cup banana chips
• 1/2 cup chocolate chips
• Wax paper

What you do:

Have the children mix peanut butter, powdered sugar, butter and graham cracker crumbs together.

Then, have children shape the peanut butter mixture into ovals for the bee bodies.

Once done, have them place peanut butter bee bodies on a sheet of wax paper.

Next, have them drizzle chocolate syrup over the bodies, making stripes.

Direct the children to use 2 chocolate chips for the eyes.

Have the children break a banana chip in half and stick the pieces to the sides of the bodies for the wings.

Allow the chocolate to harden a little and, then, let the children eat their Peanut Butter Bumble Bees!

While the children are making their Peanut Butter Bumble Bees, play some great music in the background with Kids’ Playtime Songs.
